Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for over 40 years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise made her debut in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's student. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
