Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She operates and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - one of Iceland's top CrossFit weightlifter, media acclaim and CrossFit competitors - is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The woman was the first to be awarded an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area with her family. Annie was an avid sportsperson and began working out at an early age. In 2009, she was a participant in her first CrossFit event in California. She performed impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 (as at 2021). She's 5' 7" tall and weighs 67lbs. Annie started her CrossFit journey in California in the year 2009. Her performance was good in her initial races and placed in the top 10 out of 70. While she didn't win any titles, she finished with the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. When she competed in CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. Later in the year, she was a participant in another CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance, she was able to win the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie again won in the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first female athlete who was able to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal and then in 2021 was the last time she took home the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Today, Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick and many others. Aside from that, she has a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand subscribers where her training diet videos, family and travel vlogs are published.
